Beth_bw_web2For over 25 years, Elizabeth Gummere has provided accounting, financial and operational management services to a variety of companies in diverse industries.

Beth began her career in financial management as a CFO and Controller in Bay Area companies undergoing transitions and soon realized that she had a knack for steering businesses through challenging times by addressing multiple financial issues simultaneously.

Happy to hand off the financial management role to someone else to maintain once a company stabilized, and move on to the next project, she realized there is a market for troubleshooting and turnaround consulting.

She launched her own consulting practice in 2001 focusing on nonprofits, entrepreneurial enterprises, companies in transition and other small and medium-sized businesses with specialized or unusual accounting and finance needs.

Over 20 years, she has helped extend the lifespan and revive the viability of dozens of  companies that were otherwise headed for untimely ends.  Her commitment to financial stability has also resulted in several successful startups with solid financial management from the beginning.

Beth’s undergraduate degree is from the Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communications. She has an MBA from Simmons College in Boston.

In addition to her finance and accounting expertise, she is also the CEO of a residential glass installation business, a rower, and serves on non-profit Boards, often as Treasurer. During the pandemic she co-founded The Kenza Collective, where she designs and curates financial content to help parents start their own businesses.
